Prof. Asen Asenov
Asen Asenov (FIEEE, FRSE) is the James Watt Professor in Electrical Engineering and the Leader of the renown Glasgow Device Modelling Group Asenov directs the development of 2D and 3D quantum mechanical, Monte Carlo and classical device simulators and their application in the design of advanced and novel CMOS devices. Asenov has more than 850 publications and more than 250 invited talks in the above areas.
Asenov is the founder and was the CEO of Gold Standard Simulations (GSS) Ltd. In 2016 GSS was acquired by Synopsys. Asenov is also a founder and CEO of SemiWise, Ltd, a CMOS technology and device IP and service company, Director of SureCore a, Ltd, a SRAM design IP start-up company, and Ngenics an EDA company.
Prof. Santanu Mahapatra
Santanu Mahapatra is with Department of Electronic Systems Engineering, at IISc, Bangalore, India. He founded Nano Scale Device Research Laboratory in 2006 for modeling of carrier transports in nano materials at circuit, device and atomistic level. His research interests include 2D channel transistors, energy efficient electronic switches and energy-storage at nano-scale. He is the author of the book Hybrid CMOS Single Electron Transistor Device and Circuit Design. He is recepient of several awards including IBM Faculty award & Microsoft Research India Outstanding Faculty Award in 2007, associateship of Indian Academy of Sciences in 2009 along with Ramanna Fellowship (2012 to 2015) from DST, GOI for his contribution in compact modeling.
Prof. Mridula Gupta
Mridula Gupta received M.Sc. in Electronics and M. Tech in Microwave Electronics from University of Delhi in 1984 and 1986. She received her PhD in optoelectronics from the University of Delhi, India, in 1998. She has also received Nehru Centenary Common Wealth Fellowship award (UK) for three years in 1990. She joined Department of Electronic Science, University of Delhi as lecturer in 1988. From May 1989 to October 1989, she was with C-DOT, Govt. of India as research engineer. Currently she is Professor in the Department of Electronics Science, University of Delhi, India.
